Dragons Rugby Club - Under 11's Years Old

Dragons Rugby Club - Under 12's Years Old

(Training: Saturday 2.30pm - 4.00pm)

[Head Coach: Brad]

[Team Manager: Nyree]

Dragons Under 11’s are continuing their journey to perfect their skills playing contact rugby.  Our boys look forward to learning skills and playing games every Saturday.  During the year, we focus on making contact rugby safe and fun for our young Dragons.  The players are taught how to pass & catch, run & dodge, make and take tackles in a safe and controlled environment.  For our Dads and Mums who help out during the sessions, it provides a great bonding environment for the child and the parent.  Our energetic and enthusiastic boys have fun and engaging sessions every time they meet up!  It is always wonderful to see our Dragons play, learn and grow together as a team!

Our boys take part in both local and overseas tournaments and we welcome any interested players to come check us out during our training sessions!

Assistant coaches Matt Rose, Joe Sergi, Mark Channing

U8 - KL Tigers (4th place) 2017

KL Tigers International Rugby 10s 2017

Day 1 saw our U8’s narrowly lose the first two matches. The team picked themselves up and went on to win the next 2 matches of the day. Sunday saw the mighty U8’s win all 5 pool matches with some convincing scores over both the hosts KL Tigers and KL Saracens. With 7 out 9 wins, this placed them in the plate final on Sunday against Tanglin 1 (who they had beaten the day before 5-0).

A tough plate final with a narrow defeat 2-1 meant that Dragons took 4th place overall. A fantastic effort by these boys all weekend. Many thanks to the parents for your support.
