Never before have a side won the Championship three years in a row, but that is the task now facing Eddie Jones and England.

After a Grand Slam in 2016 and another crown last year – only marred by defeat in Dublin on the final day – Jones has clearly taken to this Championship like a duck to water.

The fixture list for even years is favoured by Jones, who will welcome both Ireland and Wales to Twickenham in 2018.

South West London remains a fortress for the English, they have not lost there under Jones and Ireland and Wales have enjoyed a combined total of one victory there in the Championship since 2010.
